Giovanni Sogari was awarded a PhD in Agriculture Economics from the Catholic University of Piacenza, Italy. Currently he is a Researcher in the Department of Food and Drug of the University of Parma, Italy, where he teaches “Consumer Research: Food Choices and Healthy Eating Behavior”. In 2017, he was granted with a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Fellowship and he carried out his research activities at the Department of Applied Economics and Management of Cornell University in US. Dr. Sogari is also an active member in various scientific societies including the Italian Scientists and Scholars in North America Foundation, the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA), and the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE).
