Luis Vivas-Alegre is a Policy Coordinator in the Farm to Fork Strategy Unit of the Directorate General ‘Health and Food Safety’ of the European Commission. Luis holds a bachelor in Veterinary Science by the University of Leon (Spain), and two Masters of Science by the University of Bristol (UK) and by the Universities of Ulster (UK) and Dublin (Ireland). Luis has over 20 years of experience on different food safety aspects gained in national and EU public institutions: research, official controls, risk assessment and risk management.
