After nine years as an EU correspondent in Brussels and Madrid, María currently works in the Department of Communication, Engagement and Cooperation, of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). She acts as media and communication officer for animal welfare and animal health, and coordinates EFSA’s podcast series “Science on the menu”.
