Chiara Dall’Asta

Chiara Dall’Asta is Associate Professor of Food Chemistry at the Department of Food and Drug, at the University of Parma, where she graduated in Chemistry with a major in Analytical Chemistry and she was awarded PhD in Food Science. Her +20 years academic career has been always focused on food safety, with a special interest in natural compounds. From 2014 to 2020, she served as expert for several EFSA working groups under the CONTAM Panel remit. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the PhD course in Food Science, at the University of Parma. Her scientific activity is attested by +210 papers on International ISI peer-reviewed journals.
